Ancestor:Descendants:

The digging cavehopper split from its ancestor, the cavehopper. It has gone underground and eats the roots of the Light Gatherer Plurge. To help it dig it has adapted larger front claws. Its coloring is pale since it rarely is exposed to light and its completely blind now. It lays soft eggs in damp sand rather than the roots like its ancestor did in fear it might fear them by accident.
