The diamiboard split from the phytodiamond. The 'gas bladder' of the diamiboard has allowed it to float on the surface of the water and it has developed a flatter surface to collect sunlight more efficiently. The roots are now on the bottom where they trail in the water and catch floating particles and microbes. The diamiboard produces airborne spores which are jettisoned from the highest point on top of the crystal. These adaptations have allowed the diamiboard to spread across the Jujubee ocean, but it has not made it to the LadyM ocean yet.
