The desert goth tree split from its ancestor, and now only has branches at the top to discourage herbivores from eating its fluid filled leaves. It has a narrow trunk that allows it to grow very quickly and colonize new areas in a short amount of time, although it isn't wide, the trunk is tough and flexible so the flora doesn't snap. The stalks that produce its gliding cup shaped berries are now the highest part of this flora allowing the offspring to spread far from its parent.
