The cryopod split from cryosagania. Like its ancestor, it is a cryophile. It has evolved to very cold environments, such as Russ River. It got to Russ river from the melting snow in Glicker Alpine. It has a blue-green chloroplasts and thrives in the light during the summers when the days are longer. During the long winters it will stay dormant. When reproducing via mitosis it will split on the bottom of the last one making cone like chains. During the course of it life it will get bigger and bigger and eventually die off on the end. They sometimes break apart and thus form new cone chains. Each single cell now has four flagella in which together allows them to swim around faster than its ancestor could.
