Ancestor:Descendants:

The cornularian has left the Artir Polar Coast and has become a dangerous predator. With its large horns, the cornularian charges at its prey at high speeds. The impact usually kills the prey in one hit, shattering all of its bones. Unlike the horns of its ancestor, they no longer have a layer of skin covering them. Instead, the bones have become thicker and stronger. The horns can still be broken if enough force is exerted on them.

The cornularians hunt in packs of six, led by an alpha male. In order to take on prey larger than its self, such as the magnificent slaesosaurus, the pack will distract the prey as they surround it. They will all then simultaneously charge it, killing it instantly. They communicate through barking noises in a similar manner to arostrolarians. During the mating season in summer, the alpha also gets to pick who to mate with first. If killed in any sort of way, another male will take up the role of alpha. This includes if the alpha is killed by a member of their pack or another pack. Different packs will fight in small skirmishes over food.

In the mating season, if two male cornularians both want the same female, they will fight until the opponent is killed or breaks a horn. When a cornularian breaks a horn, they are exiled from their pack and eventually die alone. The children born during the mating season stay with their pack forever. The child of the alpha male will normally become the next alpha when the father dies, but only if the child is male. If there are two male children of the alpha, they will fight to the death. Children closely resemble the shorthorn scylarian. As the children mature, the horns grow longer and thicker.
