When the ice comet hit, many opportunities arose, which the sand snark exploited. They split from their ancestor and migrated to the LadyM Ocean and shifted to a carnivorous life-style. Their teeth have grown to better kill their prey. The pigment in the skin of the comet snark has become a dark teal so they can blend into the waters.
