Ancestor:Descendants:

The coastal voltflora split from its ancestor, the beach voltflora. It has grown to twice its ancestors size and lives in Oz Temperate Coast. Like its ancestor it has a a layer of wax on its outside to prevent rust. And it can expel excess salt out of its "feeding holes".

It roots have become longer to it can float on the waters surface. Air filled tanks sit under its photovoltaic leaves. This keeps it floating on the water while still anchored to the bottom by it roots. Its roots also have evolved pistons which create electricity for its battery when the waves go up and down. It needs this extra power so it can produce enough power to shoot its seeds into the air.

Like its ancestor it absorbs sunlight with its photovoltaic leaves and storing it in its battery-like organ within their trunks. The both the batteries and the slaves have become more efficient. Its cannon-like barrel now shoots a magnetic missile-like seed. With a larger barrel and stabilizer fins its able to spread more farther. The ocean water also helps cool it down after it shoots since its barrel can get red hot after firing.

Its "feeding holes" now filter-feed. These holes are able to digest organic matter and iron. It uses a magnetic field to draw in fauna and flora that have iron in them. These include iron microbes, iron fauna, iron flora and rust coated purple flora. In addition it can take in iron in the water just like its roots take in iron from the soil. Once inside the "feeding holes" the food is shocked and then digested.
