The cloud swarmer has split from its ancestor. It moved into the atmosphere, and began living in clouds. The swarmers will filter feed on the abundance of microbes and water inside the clouds at night, then glide on top of the clouds photosynthesizing during the day. They will use the clouds as carriers of reproductive material, allowing rain to carry it down onto other cloud swarmers. They have evolved bigger wings, and have doubled in size. The gills around their mouths have gotten larger, and have spread down the neck to help it absorb the thin air of the atmosphere. The only time a cloud swarmer will leave the atmosphere is when it is struck by lightning, which happens often.
