The chaoses genus group has replaced its ancestors, the saganchaos, oceanchaos, jujuchaos and other saganchaos decedents. They have stayed mostly unchanged since the time life first appeared on Sagan 4. Like their ancestors they have several hundred nuclei and an elastic cell membrane. They use this membrane to engulf and consume smaller microbes. They can be found in nearly every type of biome on Sagan 4 as long as there is enough water for it to move in and microbes to consume it will live there.
