The cave notox split from its ancestor, the notox, and followed the badger toxplague into Badger Limestone Caves. They lived much like their ancestor did, feeding on fruit and building up the badger toxplage's poisonous toxins in their fat. Those with more fat have more toxins to protect them. They help spread the seeds of the badger toxplage and in return they get to eat the fruit.
Since there is less light in the cave, they have evolve larger eyes and ears, to help them hear and see in the dark. They are still very social and love to play around with each other. Males tend to become very fat and will have sumo-like wrestling contests. During these contests they will push each other to see who is stronger. They do not build burrows but will make leafy nests from the dead leaves of the badger toxplage.
