Ancestor:Descendants:

The cave nakeworm split off the cunning lizardworm after a genetic mutation prevented some lizardworms from growing back their armor if it was bitten off, normally when this would happen, the lizardworm will soon die as it will have to hide in a burrow to keep away from the heat of the sun, but when this mutation occurred in the lizardworms who lived near the Ninja Sandstone Caves, they managed to find refuge in the caves, as there was less sunlight there.

There they have began to feed on the leaves of the ninjaswoop. When the ninjaswoop population lowers, the cave nakeworm resorts to eating the spore bulbs of the lolly poppy, one pair of their legs has elongated in order for it to stand and reach the top of the lolly poppy, there it will quickly snatch as much spore bulbs as it can with its front pair of legs, they have adapted to this very quickly in order to minimize the time they are in the range of the sleep inducing gas of the lolly poppy. The cave nakeworm, like it's ancestor, is cold blooded and must regulate it's temperature by sunning and shading itself, and has a prehensile tail.
