The cave cryodome split from its ancestor, the cryodome. It now grows on the walls at the mouth of Mae Sandstone Caves. It can only live there because it depends upon sunlight. It is now twice as big and has strong roots to keep in place. They use the same glass-like lenses as their ancestor, making the cave walls sparkle like a disco ball. They need very little nutrients to grow and reproduce by asexually budding.
