The cave calcrystalium split from its ancestor and move to the Bono Limestone Sea Caves. It lives much like its ancestor does, but now relies more on organic particles it strains from the water then on photosynthesis. They live near the entrance of the caves to absorb sunlight. They now get their calcium from the limestone in the caves. They are also still symbiotic with the calflash.
