The buff snarks replaced their ancestor the snark in Jujubee Ocean due to food problems. They have become faster and stronger by growing a larger dorsal fin, with thin muscle supporting it. Because of this bigger dorsal fin, the buff snark can displace a lot more water thus accelerating faster and reaching higher top speeds. They are able to catch more prey, and different prey thanks to this and their larger teeth.
Their eyes have been placed higher because of their preference of attacking from below. This also has been a hunting technique that the buff snarks started incorporating in learning to their children. Because their symbiotic alliance with the stella creates perfect camouflage. They can still create complex camouflage patterns, but normally when swimming, they maintain a darker upper body, and a lighter belly, inherited from their ancestors. This is because they only use the stella in mating season for courting purposes and visibility now.
