The budding microdendron is a new species of microdendron. It is similar to its ancestor, except that its reproduction has changed. The budding microdendron retains the cell wall, but only the top is not covered. The mother cell buds a new cell on the top, and then the daughter cell floats away. Once it lands on something, it will grow up to be like the mother cell. This method of reproduction caused the budding microdendron to be so successful that it replaced its ancestor in the east Glickerian coasts and caused the sea moss to become extinct.
Living Relatives (click to show/hide)
These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
None found. Note that this does not necessarily mean it has no living relatives at all, but that, assuming all taxonomy is filled in, its entire phylum is extinct; any relatives it does have likely do not resemble it.
