Black sea algae split from algaaquila. Like its ancestor it absorbs all light but it is not as effective as other flora. Unlike its ancestor it has evolved to live in saltwater. However like its ancestor it likes cold regions. Thus it lives in the northern temperate zone on the Jujubee Sea region. It is an important part of the ocean ecosystem, taking the role of phytoplankton.
Living Relatives (click to show/hide)
These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
None found. Note that this does not necessarily mean it has no living relatives at all, but that, assuming all taxonomy is filled in, its entire phylum is extinct; any relatives it does have likely do not resemble it.
