Binucleusphotoedo sp.
Ancestor:Descendants:

Binucleusphotoedo is a photosynthetic autotroph that drifts around in deeper waters where the competition for sunlight is less. There is also less sunlight that reaches these depths but binucleusphotoedo can make the best with what little it can get. The cell is unusual because it has developed two cell nuclei. Early in their evolution something went wrong with the cell division process, just like it did in binucleusdetritivorus, which the binucleusphotoedo is a distant relative to.
