Reproduction Asexual, Very Resistant Spores

A few spores that were picked up by lake currents and sent down stream to the beaches managed to survive, and began growing in the tidal zones of nearby beaches. They no longer use their asexual budding form of reproduction, and adopted a completely spore-based form of reproduction instead. They have grown slightly taller, and now inhabit the banks of the Ovi Polar River, the Barlowe Polar Beach, and the Ovi Salt Bog. While they still require contact with the water often to survive, they are slowly becoming more terrestrial, rather than aquatic. They have also developed structures, specifically designed for releasing spores periodically.
