The battlewalker replaced its ancestor, the plated battleswarmer. It has gotten much bigger due to island gigantism. It no longer swims but walks on the sea bottom. Its many armored tentacles move it along as it says neutrally buoyant since its armor is so heavy. Like its ancestor, its armor can photosynthesize, however depending upon how deep they are in the shallows depends upon how much sunlight they get. They still travel in swarms but are more like a herd of land creatures. Its 2 eyes now are on eyes stalks. The front faces forwards while the back faces backwards.
