The barbarian sauceback split off from its ancestor when other animals became bigger, so to fight back, they became significantly more aggressive than their ancestor, their tusks developed serrated edges to cut its prey more easily, and they also became more heavily built than the tusked sauceback. They're still social like their ancestor but have developed bigger groups.
