Ancestor:Descendants:

Having split from its ancestor, the armororm has doubled in size and has developed a protective shell that covers its entire body save for its head and tail. Though they cannot sense their surroundings as well anymore, their body is better defended against potential predators. They constantly strain the water, devouring all possible organic material and spitting out inorganic material.

They now form massive shoals and have become an important food source for many species as well as an important member of the marine ecosystem.
