The annareptor evolved from the hookaptor. The annareptor has evolved a more streamlined body adapted to swimming in water. Its tail now has a fin which it uses to steer while it's swimming. Its feet have skin between the toes with which it can push the water to go faster. Its hooks are now more adapted to hold onto its prey while they try to swim away. The annareptor now spends most of its time in the water; the only times it gets on land is when it goes to sleep, lays eggs, or eats its prey. It can hold its breath for about ten minutes, and when it needs to breath, it just sticks its head out of the water.
